Merry Christmas to all. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Aside from missing alot of our family members, Christmas turned out well. Thanks to God everyone is safe. I updated the blog with Pics from Let's trip to visit McKenna on her birthday. Lot's of cute video (I am not biased,:). Julian is a cow in the school play. He said that he was glad he wasn't a donkey. The Christmas tree shows the effect of the economy but at least we had one. Enjoy the rest of the holidays and have a Safe New Year.

Halloween '09
Let has been in Raliegh, NC for about 1 1/2 weeks. She is due back this Wed 10/28. You will know she is back by the claw marks in the yard. I hear she is having a great time. Meanwhile the zombies and ghouls have been running amok. Julian and Tina went to the pumpkin patch to get us something to carve. Julian, Tina and I had a great time designing, carving, lighting and photographing the event. I highly recommend the activity for some good family time. Have a Safe Halloween. Watch out for the Children.

To Alaska and Back
Well the trip to Alaska was a long time coming. But as you can see by the update of the blog, Been There and Back. Nevertheless, I think that I can say that we all had a fantastic and memorable voyage. The trip started a little rough, we had a 9 hr. drive to Dallas due to rain. Originally, We did not want to leave out of Houston for fear of Hurricane delays. Wrong Guess!!! We boarded the Zuiderdam on Saturday 9/12 and the Bon Voyage party began at about 5:30 pm as we left Vancouver. If the pictures look like we ate often, that is because we did. The meals are all gourmet and no one was shy about asking for two appetizers, two entress, two desserts and so on at every meal. The chefs are truly top knotch. And on the plus side, I only gained 2 lbs. compared to the 10 lbs I gained on the first trip to Alaska. It was good that we took our Formal Dinner pictures early while we still fit in our clothes. We did some Whale watching in Juneau, Scenic Railway Tour in Skagway, Took in Glacier Bay from our Ship and Watched Salmon swim upstream in Ketchikan. All things end at a new beginning and so it was with this trip. Thanks to God we had a great time and a safe trip. The blog update includes 12 chapters that you can click on individually to see a photo chronicle of the trip. Please enjoy.

Feb and Mar Flew By
The title tells it all. Although we flew thru these two months it was with a lot of activity. We finished roofing, painting formal and bedrooms, as well as getting the carpet in. House is looking nice. Now we start painting outside before it gets to hot. We made a couple of side trips to Corpus and attended Joe Edwards daughter's wedding in Dallas. Also got a Mediterranean cook book which has been getting a good work out. Updated photos of GG and Julian, Raeyana's first sleepover, Sir Julian, A Good Knight rest, Wedding in Dallas, Mediterranean, and Phase 1 remodeling.

Goodbye '08, Hello '09
Wow, what a Christmas and New year we had. To say the least we had a great time this season and '09 is off to a great start, Thanks to God. It has been a while since I updated the blog, so here goes. I added five photo links on the right in reverse order, (thats just the way it is). 1) Start with Hey Cousin, All the cousins finally together for group pictures. I thought that it was hard to get Julian to look at the camera, try getting all three. 2) Aaron and Melissa's wedding, Everyone had a great time and the food was tasty, so I heard. I was under the weather but as you can see I survived. 3) Merry Christmas '09, We are so grateful for being able to share a safe season with all the family. And the presents were nice. Thanks to all! 4) Happy 3rd Birthday Julian, Check out Let at the mini bowl. Her claim to fame, "I am the best, try to beat me if you can". 5) Enjoying Texas Dec '09, Misc pictures and winding down the visit. Aaron, Ryan and McKenna had to return to Raliegh but we enjoyed having them down as well as having a chance to see everyone during the holidays. Good luck to all with their resolutions!!!
